The Future

The Furniture City History website, sister-site to History Grand Rapids, has been made possible by a generous grant from the Furniture Manufacturers’ Heritage Advised Fund, Grand Rapids Community Foundation, for which we are most grateful.

It is our intention to continue, over the coming years, to cover as many aspects of the furniture industry as possible. The site will not only continue to grow but will expand the field of Grand Rapids furniture topics.

We have already received copies of photographs, documents, and articles from website viewers who are fortunate to own such items. We encourage other viewers to share their furniture related treasures with us and with the public. If you would like to do so please contact us.
